Yeah, like I even thought I was going to write daily and stuff.. No way, this is so not for me hahah
Anyways, I decided to write again on the blog, since lately, things haven't been so good as I thought they'd be. And there are so many things going on right now, that I have no freakin idea what to start off with. SO here I go, just tryin' to catch up with everything.
First of all, the real reason for my latest absence: finals! Yeah, that time of the year where I do nothing else than studying for 3 or 4 weeks. I still have one week left, 2 finals. The other 4 were great, passed them all, and I can happily start my summer. Or not, let's wait for this last week to end and I'll start making real plans for this summer.
Second, there's this.. guy that pisses me off. Ok, not some any random guy, my sister's boyfriend! Ugh, she's so changed, I mean, I don't hate him for what he is, but for what he's done with my sister. It's not her anymore, I totally miss her!! We used to get along so well and have the best of times, just us. But since this... dude got into her life, she's all around him, she's never by herself, not to mention she's not even sleeping home!
So when she came to college this year, I mean, last year, in October, we moved together in an apartment. And I left the dorms, where I felt so great, and I met a lot of great and amazing friends, and people that really helped me throught my fisrt 2 years in college. And I actually came to live with my sister, cause let's face it, she's my sister I would've picked her over anyone anyways, so.. not such a big deal leaving the dorms after all. But I left my friends and came here, and I thought hey, we'll have so much fun, just as, the girls, and it was going to be a new begining for both of us, me starting to feel more responsible, she starting a new life, she was in college now, more mature, more grown up.
Yeah right. She met this guy and she's completely changed, and I was eventually left to live alone. My parents obviously have no freakin idea she's spending the nights @ his place and I can't tell them, like that would be way too rude and mean, even for me.
I usually get bored all by myself and I pretty much get scared sometimes. I don't know, I am scared of ppl tryin to enter the apartment, thieves and stuff like that :| Not ghosts LOL but I'm just scared sometimes.
Yeah, my life kinda sucks lately... :|
Any ideas about what I shoud do to improve this situation? Not talking to my sister, she's so "into" this guy, she won't listen. End of story.. ugh :(

Ok...that stinks in more ways than one...what can I say that will make it feel better...well nothing. It sucks and there is no way around it. What I can say is that sisters last forever, boyfriends, heck even husbands don't.
ReplyDeleteI recently had a fuss with my sister over the internet (me in the USA and her in England) and I cried for 2 nights because we said such mean things. Now we are both stuck and who needs to apologize...a boy was the cause of it all...and I know she is the "honeymoon" faze of her relationship...where there is no one but him...but hey like you I miss my sister and in my case, she being older, is my counsel, my trusted guide...yeah it stinks...sorry.
yeah, it sucks, but you're so right, sisters are forever, sisterhood is blood so I know nothing can separate us ever.. I just feel sad for losing these amazing years of her life, and she's losing mine :(

Make memories...even if just on your own or with friends...that way when she comes back around, you will have long chats about your time apart :) Perhaps you can sit her down and talk to her...tell her you want one day/eve/afternoon/few hours as girl time if it does not work maybe get a few girlfriends together and have girl time with them (where she can see you)...show her how fun you are... (Silly I know to make her jealous...but all is fair in love and war!)
